Flycatcher
The Challenge
When Flycatcher Inc. decided to sell B2B, their website became even more important. They wanted to emphasize that their products were all vetted with educational experts, offered both on-line and off-line play, and of course, were fun.
The Solution
The Flycatcher blog mixes product points and research advice, tapping into the popular intersection of play, learning and technology.
One Fun
The Challenge
SPLATZ! was being sold B2C, mostly on their website. While the pandemic boosted demand, we wanted to define it further with a personal story.
The Solution
The SPLATZ! blog was written in the friendly voice of the founder, telling her story and inviting readers to write back to her. Each entry featured healthy, expert-vetted advice, as well as personal storytelling. It was published on the website and often showed pictures of the founder’s own family.
Out of the Sandbox
The Challenge
KidScreen.com, one of the foremost kids’ entertainment publications, wanted a new platform to present timely topics that appealed to their vast community of transmedia developers and consumers.
The Solution
Drawing on my expertise as cofounder of Sandbox Summit and engaging the researchers and developers in my network, I created Out of the Sandbox, a bi-monthly blog for KidScreen.com, highlighting the important ideas and innovative products that could empower kids on a daily basis.
